NAFDAC Confiscates Wines Worth Millions in Rivers

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), has confiscated millions of naira worth of unregistered wines and other alcoholic drinks in Portharcourt, the Rivers State capital.

According to the Agency, the confiscation was achieved following its collaboration with wine producers in the state.

Mrs. Chinelo Ejeh, Rivers state coordinator, NAFDAC, said the Agency was acting in a bid to reduce fake and influx of unregistered wines in the market.
