Another lecturer of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) indicted in the BBC sex-for-grades documentary, Dr Samuel Oladipo, has been suspended.
His suspension came after that of Dr Boniface Igbenehue, a senior lecturer in the faculty of arts of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), who was also indicted in the BBC documentary.
However, Oladipo of the Department of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences, got into the scandal web after dragging BBC reporter, Kiki Mordi, who was waiting for the undercover reporter who visited Igheneghu, to his office and insisted on getting her phone number.
He subsequently invited her to his office during which the expressed his desire to “love” her and even touched her Kiki’s hand. He later took her to the ‘cold room’ where he allegedly groped her.
However, while confirming his suspension, the Principal Assistant Registrar (Communications Unit), Mrs Taiwo Oloyede, said: “The second lecturer in the BBC documentary has been suspended also,” said yesterday.
