This was disclosed in a post shared on Instagram by Nigerian socialite and member of the group, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest.
The vehicles, branded with Seyi Tinubu’s picture alongside his father and Vice President Kashim Shettima, were unveiled during the movement’s meeting on Wednesday night at Bourdillon, Ikoyi area of Lagos.
Present at the unveiling of the vehicles donated by the South-East zone members of the movement were Lagos-based businessmen and industrialists like Obinna Iyiegbu (Obi Cubana); The Enviable Group CEO, Ituma Chukwuemeka; and Zenco Communications CEO, Cletus Oragwa, amongst others.
Meanwhile, members of the City Boy Movement, especially those from southeast, have recently come under heavy criticism over their support for Tinubu.
One of the major critics is human rights activist, Isaac Fayose, who in a recent post on his Instagram handle slammed the group over alleged neglect of imprisoned Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
Fayose accused the southeastern businessmen of being brought over by Tinubu with hope of getting political favour from the President.
However, the spokesperson of the City Boy Movement, Emana Amawhe, would in a recent interview om Channels TV dismissed claims that the group is a political support platform formed to secure appointments for its members.
Amawhe maintained that the movement is open to Nigerians across different sectors and is focused on supporting Tinubu’s reform agenda ahead of the 2027 elections.
