The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the opening of its application portal for the recruitment of ad hoc staff ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
This was made know in a statement issued on the commission’s X handle on Friday.
INEC disclosed that portal will close on the 18th of November 2026.
The comission said applicants can access the portal through it website and mobile application.
“This is to notify the general public that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will activate the INECPRES for interested Applicants who wish to serve as ad-hoc staff during the 2027 General Election as scheduled below:
“The activation of INECPRES on Friday, 18 September 2026 by 8:00am and closes on Wednesday, 18th Nov,2026 by 12 midnight.
“The Online application will be available on the INEC website via the link inecnigeria.org (for both mobile App. and the Web Application).
“The web version (using a laptop and desktop) shall be accessible via the portal URL:pres.inecnigeria.org
“The Android mobile App. shall be accessible via the link inecnigeria.org/pres.apk or inecpres-app.com/pres-app.apk” The statement partly read.
Meanwhile, eligible applicants include INEC officials, serving corp members, MDAs staff, and tertiary institution students amongst others.
