Says She has Nothing to Do with his Marriage

Nigeria Afrobeat legend, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has opened up on his alleged affair with Edo State House of Assembly lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, amid controversial separation with his wife, Annie Macaulay.
While expressing concern concern over the spate of rumours and allegations surrounding his estranged marriage, 2Baba affirmed his love for Natasha who had come under fire for alleged interference in the Idibias matrimonial home.
2Baba, in a video which was reportedly recorded at the Edo Assembly and shared on X on Tuesday, held that the lawmaker had nothing to do with his troubled marriage.
The musician maintained that he is on good terms with Annie but affirmed his love for the Natasha, revealing plan to marry the Edo Assembly’s Deputy Majority Leader.
“Everybody is fine. There is no fight, no quarrel. I said what I said. All of us will be alright.
“Honorable Natasha has been dragged. She has been called all sorts of names. She has been labelled as a home breaker.
“You know, she is a young brilliant, amazing woman. She has nothing to do with what’s happening between me and Annie and in our marriage.
“But I see everybody roaming over it. Yes I love her. She is amazing and cool. I want to marry her. That’s on one side.” He said.
Reaffirming the state of affairs between him and Annie, 2Baba slammed to propelling rumours and unfounded allegations about his marriage.
“On the other side, me and Annie we no dey fight, we no dey quarrel. We have good understanding of ourselves and what’s going on.
“So, everybody has been saying stuffs allegedly. Keep alleging we shall continue to be alleging.
“You are allowed to interfere and say what you feel like but please when you want to allege, make sure you know what you are alleging.
“Everybody is just hiding under allege to just say what they want to say, causing heartache and embarrassing people up and down.
“We need to do something about this allege. If you don’t know something, don’t talk.” He said.
