Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has, on Monday, commissioned the renovated Alapere pedestrian bridge at Agboyi-Ketu area of the state which was destroyed last year by a truck.
As seen in a post shared on X by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-Olu was accompanied by his Deputy, Obafemi Hamzat, Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mayor Dele Oshinowo, and other state officials as he inspects the new bridge.
The commissioning of the bridge, according to Akosile, is part of the list of projects set to be commissioned by the governor this week.
In another post by the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on New Media, Jubril Gawat, Sanwo-Olu arrived at Ifako-Ijaiye local government area for the commissioning of the Abiola-Onijemo link bridge.
The bridge, according to Gawat, provides a strategic connection linking Abiola/Ajayi/ Ogba and Obawole / Iju – Ishaga communities which is separated by a wide swamp belt.
