Isaac Fayose, younger brother of former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose has said his video talking about his brother was not to drag him but to set the records straight.
Isaac, in a video released on his Instagram page on Tuesday, said many people have attacked him over his earlier video where he allegedly berated the former Governor for not giving him contracts while he served as Governor in the South-West state.
In his earlier video, the younger Fayose had said that it was good he struggled for himself to make a living adding that his brother who didn’t empower him now wanted to “put me in your pocket.”
The video had drawn criticism with many also accusing him of a sense of entitlement.
Reacting, Isaac held that he did not receive any benefit from Ekiti state during his brother’s tenure despite his struggle with him.
He disclosed that he has taken bullets for his brother on several occasions as he recounted his ordeal.
“For many of you abusing me online, your abuse no dey pain me. I wasn’t dragging my brother. I was telling you the truth. You are the people that come on board to say Ekiti money.
“Even when I do giveaway, even when I go to hospitals to bless people, they call it Ekiti money.
“And true to God, in my life, I didn’t get any contract from Ekiti, nothing. My brother was there.
“Sometimes, he dash me cars- his old cars that he is not using. It is normal. From my own family I get gifts because I’m the last son.
“I love my brother so much. I have taken a lot of bullets for my brother.
“Do you know I’ve been arrested for murder in Nigeria before? I was taken to court 20 years ago. I was one of Babafemi Ojudu’s victims- me, Goke Olatunji, Baba Okunu.
“It was baba Adedibu that saved me that I didn’t go to jail. He said Isaac cannot do this. Isaac was at the port doing his job. And they saw the evidence and they freed me.
“Goke and Baba Okunu were in prison for four years. That is taking bullet for my brother.
“I am with EFCC now. Tenant and landlord matter, they turned it into fraud.
“Because one day my brother went to report there when they handed over.
“I was there with him drumming with gangan, sekere, saying Magu ole! Magu ole!
“Magu got angry and said they should go and look for anything to put this boy in court, to arrest him.
“I take bullet for him; I love him and can still take bullet for him.
“I love him more than you. But I didn’t get anything in that state.” Isaac Fayose said.
Reacting to those accusing him of having sense of entitlement, the socialite reiterated that God made everything possible for him and through Ekiti or his brother.
“People saying you are feeling entitled; you are not supposed to get anything. It’s okay, but they don’t hold my mouth too.
“So, nobody should feel entitled that I should talk certain way.
“You that accuse me every day, am I supposed to kpai with the notion in your head that my success is not from God, but from one particular place? Which you are wrong. God has made everything possible in my life- not through Ekiti state, not through my brother.’ Isaac added.
Recall that his elder brother Ayodele Fayose served as Governor twice in Ekiti state.
