A Lagos State Federal High Court has ordered the Chairman of the Honeywell Group, Oba Otudeko, to appear before the court for the hearing of his alleged N12.3 billion fraud suit.
This was disclosed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in a post on its official X on Monday.
NPO Reported that the EFCC had arraigned Otudeko alongside Olabisi Onasanya; and a former board member of Honeywell, Soji Akintayo.
The defendants were arraigned over the 13-count charge preferred against them by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
They were charged alongside a firm, Anchorage Leisure Ltd.
In the charge marked FHC/L/20C/2025, EFCC had alleged that the defendants obtained the sum of N12.3 billion from First Bank under false pretence.
