As Ex-Senator Reminds Igbokwe How He Begged Osinbajo for Money

Former Nigerian lawmaker, Senator Babafemi Ojudu, and the All Progressive Congress (APC) Chieftain, Joe Igbokwe, have traded words over Ushie Rita, the youth corp member who called President Bola Tinubu a “terrible President”.
Igbokwe had in a post on his Facebook page on Wednesday called out Ojudu for criticising him.
He trolled the ex-lawmaker, claiming that he had been embittered since his principal, ex-Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, lost the 2023 Presidential ticket to President Bola Tinubu.
“It is difficult if not impossible for me to understand Senator Femi Ojudu again.
“He has been slaying into my page to drop scurrilous drivels for no just cause.
“Since his Principal lost the Presidential ticket in 2023 PBAT supporters have become his enemies.” Igbokwe wrote.
Commenting, Ojudu held that he had only urged Igbokwe as a friend to stop cyber bullying the Youth Corp member.
The ex-lawmaker disclosed how he pleaded with Osinbajo for financial assistance on the APC Chieftain’s behalf.
“Good morning, Joe. I guess it is my turn to be picked on today.
“Rather than do this why don’t you just block me. All I did was to plead with you to stop cyber bullying a young lady.
“That you should rather counsel her if she has done something wrong.
“Is this too much to tell a friend?
“A friend you had on many occasions reached out to get many things for you at Easter and Christmas and to help you beg the same VP to give you money to rebuild your house that got burnt in your village.
“Haba Joe! Some of us do keep records, you know.” Ojudu wrote.
