A yet-to-be identified woman has reportedly been abducted by suspected kidnappers in Ibadan, Oyo state capital.
The incident, as disclosed in a video shared on TikTok on Saturday, occurred along the newly commission expressway between Owode Apata New Garage and Olakunle axis.
One of the eyewitnesses who recorded the video recounted how the kidnappers had waylaid the woman and abducted her from her Sienna vehicle with a Lagos registered number, LSR-79HP.
As seen in the video, some of the woman’s properties were left in the car.
Reacting to the incident, the Oyo Police Command’s spokesperson, Wale Osifeso, told NPO Reports correspondent on Monday that investigation has commenced with update to be communicated in due time.
“An investigation has commenced immediately into demystifying the circumstances that led to the incident.
“Updates regarding the investigation will be communicated accordingly.” He said.
