The singer was reportedly denied access into the aircraft over possession of alcoholic drink concealed in a flask.
In reaction, Wasiu Ayinde prevented the aircraft from moving with attempts to get him off the runway proving abortive.
In a shocking twist of event, the ValueJet pilots forcefully moved the aircraft leaving the airport ground workers at the scene scampering for safety.
Wasiu Ayinde was seen in a now viral video ducking a near collision with the wing of the aircraft.
Reacting to the incident, Fayose maintained that the singer would have been arrested and charged for assault and suicide if it were to be abroad.
“After watching Wasiu Ayinde KWAM 1 video with ValueJet, Mr. KWAM, if were to be abroad like UK, America, or Europe, or other countries-even South Africa that you tried this, you will be on your way to jail right now.
“And they will give you three counts. Your first count will be assault, assaulting airline officials. Your second count will be attempt to kpai yourself. That means you are about to commit suicide, attempted suicide.
“The second one will be attempted suicide on our legend because you are a legend. You don’t own yourself. We own you.
“Why will you want to do that? What kind of pride is that? My people imagine if it is Snopp Dogg or Jay Z that did this in America. Please you that you are westernized not the local ones.” He said.
The activist said he has lost respect for the singer as he expressed regret for spending money on him during the birthday ceremony of popular Nigerian fashion entrepreneur, Seyi Vodi.
Fayose charged the police to perform their duty in probing the singer who supposed to be a role model.
“How did we get here? We are pushing this our lawless nation too far. Other people are now looking at us that are this people normal? How can you that we look up to, our legend, be doing this. Mr. Wasiu, you lost a bit of respect from me o.
“And three weeks ago, I was spending money on you, almost N5 million, I wish I can get my refund. Because for you that one to kpai yourself, you don’t deserve us spending money on you.
“You are supposed to be our role model for crying out. How did we get here? This our lawlessness is now wearing Aso Ofi. It is now wearing agbada. Police do your job.” He said.
