Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has on Wednesday stormed the state in campaign for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition party.
El-Rufai had played an active role in the adoption of the ADC by the opposition coalition group despite already joining the Social Democratic Party (SDP) following his resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC) earlier this year.
His involvement in the coalition party had led to the SDP slamming a 30 years ban on him.
However, El-Rufai appeared unconcerned with the ban as he was captured, in series of videos shared on X on Wednesday, campaigning for the ADC.
As seen in one of the videos, the ex-Kaduna governor sat on a vehicle while waving the ADC flag to the mammoth crowd that rallied around his convoy.
Another video would show El-Rufai climbing a campaign bus to the excitement of the crowd.
The ex-APC chieftain would then endorse Alexander Adanu, the ADC candidate for the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency by-election scheduled for Saturday.
