Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has again come under spotlight after being captured charge lawmakers of the state’s House of Assembly to pass every bill and motion presented before the legislative chamber by his successor, Governor Usman Ododo.
Yahaya gave the charge while addressing the lawmakers at his residence.
As seen in the video, the embattled ex-governor admonished the lawmakers to cooperate with their speaker while adding that Ododo must be supported in everything presented before the Assembly- even if they don’t understand the motion or bill.
“You are going in there now, go and cooperate with the Speaker, other members of the Assembly of Kogi state.
“And support Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in everything that comes to the House of Assembly, even if you don’t understand.” Yahaya Bello said.
This had triggered reactions from netizens on Instagram who faulted Yahaya Bello’s directive to the lawmakers.
While some accused him of godfatherism, others expressed their disappointment with the ex-governor.
