Nigerian Afrobeat musician, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has announced the purchase of a new private jet by his father, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke.
Davido made the announcement in a post on his official Instagram handle on Sunday.
The singer, in the post, captured the moment the plane arrived at the airport as he congratulated his father over the new purchase which the marked the family’s third private jet.
“Congratulations Daddy!! Number 3!! U Dey worry! Congrats to the dynasty!” He wrote.
Meanwhile, the new private jet purchase is coming a month after Davido hinted his plan to get a third private jet.
Davido disclosed this while responding to critics envious of his affluence in a post on his X handle on Wednesday.
The musician had engaged some of his online critics in exchange of words following a comment by an X user who claimed that celebrity life does not fit him.
“This celeb life no fit you walahi” the X user, @Spyalen had posted.
Davido fired back at the critic as he maintained that he is enjoying his life.
“Naija fake celeb life.. I no want… e no fit me but nah me dey live am pass God for give u na mugu.”He wrote.
The singer’s reaction would further attract more comments with another X user, @1yxrlo, releasing a list containing names of Davido’s family entitled to the private jet he is using for his music tour.
As seen in the list, Davido’s father, Adedeji Adeleke, ranked first in the list purported to be names of the businessman’s Board of Directors.
Davido, who ranked seventh in the list, slammed the X user while giving him one hour ultimatum to post his own father’s car.
“I GIVE YOU 1hr…show me ur papa car…1..2..3 go! One hour and you go show proof… paperwork…ur mouth go finish today!! U are the most useless child any parent can have…if u no show that car in one hour you be bastard.” He wrote.
The singer would then in a separate post hint his plan to purchase a third jet while slamming his critics of being envious of his lifestyle.
