A commuter bus has on Monday left several motorists in panic after catching fire in Lagos.
This was disclosed in a post shared on X by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA).
The incident, according to LASTMA, occurred along Adekunle inward Adeniji road.
As captured in a video attached to the post, the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames, stirring panic among other commuters.
While the cause of the fire is still unknown, no casualty has also been reported as at the time of filing this report.
The LASTMA assured that effort is ongoing to extinguish the inferno.
“A bus caught fire just after Adekunle inward Adeniji, with the traffic backlog currently around Unilag Waterfront.
“Effort is ongoing to extinguish the inferno and our personnel are firmly at the location for effective traffic control.” The post read.
