Azman Airline a Nigerian aviation company on Sunday distanced itself from
One pilot Capt Abubakar Jamil who justified the killing of the student of Shehu Shagari College of Education Sokoto, Deborah Samuel.
The airline in a statement on its Twitter page on Sunday said Jamil was its pilot up until 2019 when he flew any of its planes.
The company said “Capt Jamil Abubakar is no longer a pilot AzmanAir; his last flight with us was 22nd Dec 2019.
“We refuse to take responsibility for a comment or view of a former staff.
The General Public should kindly take note.”
There have been outrage over the pilot’s message which backed the killing of Deborah.
The pilot is son of former Inspector General of Police, IGP Abubakar.
He is also said to be son in law of businessman Alhaji Aliko Dangote.
