Many leaders of the terrorists’ groups in Katsina state have on Sunday attended a meeting with officials in Katsina state in what is seen as one of the strategic moves to end killings in the Northwest of Nigeria.
This was disclosed in series of post shared on X on Monday.
As captured in the posts, the terrorist leaders who are reportedly declared wanted by the Defense Headquarters were seen engaging in the dialogue with the officials while being heavily armed.

Prominent among leaders of insurgents said to be attending the meeting are Ado Aliero and Isiya Garwa.

One of them is reported to have masterminded the killing of over 30 worshipers at the Mantau mosque Manufanshi and other cases of killings and kidnappings in the Katsina area.
However, the peace deal tends to be of no effect as terrorists and bandits’ attacks were reported in Katsina and neighbouring states.
