President Bola Tinubu has arrived at Ibadan, Oyo state capital, for the coronation ceremony of the new Olubadan, Oba Abdulrasheed Ladoja.
The President landed at the newly upgraded Ladoke Akintola International Airport before proceeding the Mapo Hall under tight security for the historical event.
Ahead of his arrival, the state governor, Seyi Makinde, waited at the airport to receive the President.
Also present at the airport to accompany Tinubu to venue of the coronation were Ondo State governor, Lucky Aiydatiwa, Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State, and Ademola Adeleke of Osun state.
The President was also accompanied to Mapo Hall by the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, and the Federal Inland Revenue Service’s (FIRS) Chairman, Dr. Zaach Adedeji.
Shortly after his arrival at the Mapo Hall, the coronation ceremony officially began with the Nigerian national anthem and Oyo state anthem rendered.
