First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has again bagged a new chieftaincy title in Gombe state.
This was disclosed in a post shared on X on Thursday.
According to the post, Tinubu was conferred the traditional title of Sarauniya Yakin Kumo, which means Queen Warrior of Kumo, by the Akko Emirate Council following her arrival in the state for a 2-day visit.
The First Lady, who was last night spotted with President Bola Tinubu at the unveiling of the remodeled Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts (formerly National Theatre), had jetted to Gombe for a 2-day health summit.
The chieftaincy title was bestowed on her by the Gombe council of traditional rulers in recognition of her contributions to nation-building, women empowerment, and the promotion of cultural values across Nigeria.
This had however sparked mixed reactions from netizens with some lauding the gesture while others were of different views.
