Arise TV anchor man, Rueben Abati, went angry on a live show on Wednesday as he exchanged words with one of guests of the programme, National Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, Victor Oye.
Abati had asked Oye to take responsibility for what he described as Oye’s defamatory statement against another person on the programme. He accused Oye of telling him to keep quiet.
Oye, however denied asking Abati to keep quiet. But NPO Reports while monitoring the show, heard Oye saying Abati should keep quiet to allow him to talk.
An angry Abati could be seen charging at the guest just as he told him “You cannot tell me to keep quiet on a programme that I anchor.” He asked Oye to “take full responsibility” for what he said.
He told Oye he could not come to the Arise tV station to insult people and get away with the insults.
