A mild panic has on Thursday ensued at the United States’ White House as a guest collapsed in front of President Donald Trump.
The guest whose identity was not fully disclosed had joined other guests at the Oval Office where Trump made announcement about lowering cost of obesity drugs.
As captured in a video shared on Instagram, the guest firstly thrusted a bit forward during a presentation by the Chief Executive Officer of Eli Lilly, David Ricks.
The guest, who was simply identified as one of the healthcare companies in attendance at the event, was quickly caught by other guests before slumping.
He was assisted and gently laid on the floor.
The incident had disrupted the event as Trump was seen standing from his desk and assessing the guest before the White House officials ushered newsmen out of the Oval Office.
Minutes after the incident, the Press were summoned back to the office with Trump confirming that the guest is now in a stable condition.
“Thank you very much. One of the representatives of the companies got a little bit lightheaded. You saw him went down. But he is fine.
“They just set him out and get doctors. He is fine. So, we had a little bit of interruption. Sorry for that.” The US President said while suggesting that the presentation be started over again.
