Niger State Governor, Umaru Bago, has received a hostile homecoming as angry residents at his local government area stoned him.
Bago had yesterday paid a courtesy visit to his hometown in Bida LGA.
As captured in a now viral video, the residents who had awaited his arrival along the dusty road charged after his convoy.
They pelleted the convoy with stones with some seen clinging on some of the vehicles which through the crowd.
However, the cause of the aggravation from the crowd is currently unknown as at the time of filing this report.
