Olufunke Fayose, mother of former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has cried out over ongoing feud between her children.
The mother of the ex-governor called on Nigerians to put her in prayer as she recounted ongoing crisis within her family.
Speaking in Yoruba in a video shared on Instagram on Wednesday, the woman disclosed that her grandchildren have ordered her out of the house, in a what she described as handwork of spiritual forces against her family.
She called for prayers and intervention by Nigerians.
“Please Nigerians don’t just look at me. Help me intervene over this issue. I need your prayers. All fathers, mother, and God’s Ministers please pray for me.
“This is a storm that must be subdued. If it’s not, how will my grandchildren be tell me to pack my belongings out of the house?
“It’s not them. It’s a storm from those who didn’t know how we started. Please come to my aid. God will be with you all and support you.” The matriarch said.
Recall that Olufunke was, alongside other siblings of Fayose, absent from the former Ekiti governor’s 60th birthday.
As disclosed in a post shared on his Instagram handle last week, Isaac Fayose, the ex-governor’s brother, alleged that Ayodele refused to invite his mother to the event.
He said the only relative who attended the birthday was the ex-governor’s Canada-based half brother who represented the Fayose family at the event.
