The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned a self-acclaimed Archbishop, Angel Oyeghe, over viral video of church members spraying Naira notes on a live cow.
This disclosed in a post shared on the anti-graft agency’s official X handle on Thursday,
According to the post, Oyeghie was arraigned before Justice Hyeladzira Ajiya Ngangjiwa of the Federal High Court sitting in Warri, Delta State, by the EFCC’s Benin Zonal Directorate.
The founder of Faith Healing Ministry was arraigned on a two-count charge bordering on conspiracy and naira abuse.
NPO Reported that Oyeghe was arrested last week in Warri following a viral video where several individuals under her supervision were seen spraying naira note on a live cow during a church programme.
She was accused of conspiracy, naira mutilation and suspected money laundering after being apprehended.
