The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has accused Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, of stopping a legacy project he handed over to him.
Wike labelled Fubara a bad child as he accused the governor of cancelling the employment he offered 10,000 youths during his tenure as the state governor.
The FCT Minister made this known while addressing his supporters in Ahoada East Local Government Area of the state on Wednesday.
He claimed Rivers was far more respected across Nigeria during his tenure unlike under the current administration of Fubara.
“I employed Rivers State youths, 10,000. The person we handed over power to, instead of allowing the 10,000 youths, cancelled their job. A bad child is a bad child.
“That is how you know how human beings are. I handed over, see where I stopped, please make sure you continue with this programme we continue with this programme that will make our state one of the most respected states in this country.
“When I was here, you know Nigeria used to respect us.” He said.
Wike again reiterated his support for President Bola Tinubu as he urged the Ahoada East residents to also support the President and his Renewed Hope agenda.
“I didn’t make mistake. We never made mistake and will not make mistake in continuing to support Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.” He added.
