Popular Nigerian Afrobeats couple, Adekunle Kosoko, also known as Adekunle Gold, and Simi Kosoko, have both welcomed their twin babies.
Adekunle Gold made the announcement in a post shared on his Snapchat story on Wednesday.
This is coming weeks after Simi shared a video snippet of Adekunle’s newly-released music video titled “My Love is the Same”.
The snippet revealed Simi’s baby bump while sharing moment with her first daughter, Adejare Kosoko, and husband.
Adekunle in his post expressed his gratitude to God over the birth of the babies whose gender were not revealed.
“Asked God for another child and he blessed me double,” she wrote.
The development had sparked reactions from netizens and fans who congratulated the music couples.
Adekunle Gold and Simi married in 2019 after years of friendship and musical collaboration.
They were both formerly signed to X3M Music and have remained one of Nigeria’s most celebrated high-profile music power couples.
