Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has presented a total 60 Toyota Land Cruisers Prado and five jeeps to the state’s traditional rulers.
The governor presented the vehicles to the traditional rulers at a grand event held in Asaba, the state capital, on Wednesday.
In a post shared on his X handle after the event, Oborevwori further identified the brand of the vehicles as 2025 model of Toyota Landcruiser Prado Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV).
He maintained that the gesture is part of the second pillar of his MORE Agenda, stressing that it will enable traditional rulers to carry out their functions more effectively.

“Today, in line with the second pillar of the More Agenda, which is Opportunities for All, I presented 60- 2025 model of Toyota Landcruiser Prado Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) and 5 Toyota Landcruiser SUV to our revered traditional rulers at Government House, Asaba.
“The gesture is to enable them carry out their functions with greater ease and convenience, bearing in mind that most of them operate in very rural and rugged terrain.

“It is also a demonstration of appreciation by our administration for their role in ensuring peace and stability in their kingdoms and by extension the state and the country.
“As a government, we are pleased with the support and cooperation of the traditional rulers in Delta State, reason being that the peace we largely enjoy in this state is because of their cooperation and collaboration with the government and security agencies.
“At the ceremony, I thanked the Royal Fathers for their continuous prayers and support.” Oborevwori wrote.
