Human rights activist, Isaac Fayose, has fired back at Nigerian socialite and businessman, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, over his reaction to criticism of Igbo influencers and businessmen who failed to fight for the release of the jailed leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
Fayose had in a post on Monday slammed the Igbo businessmen supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration, alleging that they have been brought and silenced.
In reaction, Cubana Chief Priest took to his Instagram handle to slam Fayose as flaunted his accomplishments over the years while defending his support of the President Bola Tinubu-led administraion.
In what would be considered a battle of affluence, Fayose also took to his Instagram handle to recount his achievements while question the source of Cubana Chief Priest’s wealth, stressing that he should be in jail if properly investigated.
The activist
“Cubana Chief Priest don shit for plate. What is your problem? We are not on the same league. You can’t compare day and night. You are a little boy. Even people wey you dey follow when they were coming up, na for my club for Lekki Phase One dem dey rock.
“Wizkid, Davido, 2Baba, go and ask them. When you never reach London before, I don get club for London in 1998 to 2002 when I moved back to Nigeria.
“You just get money overnight your head wan scatter. You dey compare me to your son. Oga go and rest.
“You don’t mention people by how much they throw int he party.
“My first resort will tell in Ibadan 2004. Where were you that time? Maybe you dey put your CV together to go and apply to be a barman in Obi Cubana’s club.
“We don see people like you wey don come up before . If we were in a normal country where dem dey check wealth, you go dey jail by now.
“Hushpuppi do more than you. He is now in America in prison. We don’t know the source of your wealth.” He said.
Fayose also noted that Tinubu who Cubana Chief Priest idolises was a governor the same period his brother, Ayodele Fayose, served as Ekiti state governor.
He maintained his stance that the socialite and other Igbo businessman supporting the Tinubu administration are all money-driven.
“Keep your mouth shut and enjoy wetin you dey enjoy. People wey you dey roll with now, with due respect to Mr. President, when he was a governor, my own brother too was a governor.
“So, calm down. No need to write all this rubbish epistle or poem. You don’t need to prove yourself.
“We know who you are so stop right there. No regret for my statement about the Igbos that are easy to buy because they are money driven. I don talk am, I don talk am.” Fayose added.
