A Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) vehicle has been gutted by fire in Lagos, leaving commuters in panic as the inferno intensifies.
The incident, which occurred along the Mile 12 bridge in the early hours of Tuesday, had caused traffic gridlock along the road.
Videos recordeed made available to NPO Reports showed thick black smoke emanating from the bus which is still on fire as at the time of filing this report.
While the cause of the fire is still largely unknown, no casualty has also been reported.
Some officials of the Lagos State Traffic Managament Authority (LASTMA) are presently at the scene of the incident.
However, no fire service is currently at sight as commuters a nd residents watched on helplessly.
