Another elevator breakdown has left five Banana Island residents crying for help after being trapped in the elevator.
The which incident occurred at Banana Island school had raised concern over the operation of elevator machines as the one of the residents who narrated their ordeal in a now viral video disclosed that they have been trapped in the elevator for over 40 minutes.
“We are here in the lift of Banana Island school apartment. We have been stuck here for almost 40 minutes, and we are all about suffocating in here.” He said.
The resident further disclosed reaching out to the landlady’s daughter who claimed technicians are working on the elevator since the past 40 minutes.
The principal of the school was also said to have visited the trapped residents and assured them of ongoing effort to fix the machine.
They however remained trapped with no intervention perceived to be at sight.HE
“Nobody seems to be doing anything about it. We spoke to the landlady’s daughter.
“They said they will see what they can do.
“The principal of the school came over and said they are trying to do. 40 minutes and we are almost passing out in here.” He added.
