Human rights activist, Harrison Gwaminshu, has shared a CCTV footage of a hotel robbery in Delta state.
Gwaminshu in a post on his Instagram handle on Tuesday attached the clip capturing moment the gang of armed robbers stormed the undisclosed hotel located in Asaba, the state’s capital.
As seen in the CCTV footage, the robbers armed with swords, knives, and guns kicked and banged doors of the hotel, forcing their way into the rooms where customers were lodged in.
Gwaminshu disclosed that the robbers eventually gained access to some of the rooms, attacking customers and staff with the hotel’s security operatives tied down at the gate.
One of the customers was reportedly killed during the attack.
The activist harped on the need for Nigerians to remain security conscious wherever they are.
He provided emergency contacts of the Delta State Police Control Room as well the contact of his non-governmental security network, Safe City Volunteer Foundation.
“A group of armed robbers is currently targeting hotels and residential homes across Asaba Capital Territory, attacking both staff and customers.

“Kindly save these numbers and use them immediately in case of any danger.” Gwaminshu wrote.
