Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has on Tuesday embarked on the inspection of the Gateway International Airport, ahead of the facility’s commissioning by President Bola Tinubu.
NPO Reported that Tinubu is set to visit the state on Thursday for the commissioning of the airport and other engagements.
With preparation underway for the President’s visit, Abiodun and other state government officials inspected the key facilities at the airport.
The inspection, according to a post shared on the Ogun State Government’s Instagram handle, covered critical operational and support infrastructure within the airport.
The commissioning of the airport is expected to mark a major milestone in Ogun State’s drive for economic growth, regional connectivity, and investment expansion.
