The factional leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Nafiu Bala, has alongside his supporters stormed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters in Abuja in a counter-protest against the David-Mark led faction.

NPO Reported that the protesters had marched down to INEC’s office over the commission’s decision to de-recognise the ADC leadership under David Mark in compliance with court’s order in the ongoing legal battle between the faction and Nafiu’s faction.
In reaction to the protest, Nafiu would on Thursday assembled leaders and supporters of his faction to stage a counter-protest at INEC’s office.
As against the demand of the Mark-led faction, Nafiu and other factional members of the party demanded the exit of Mark leadership of the party.

The protesters stormed the commission’s head office with banners and placards.
They charged Mark, Atiku, Obi, Amaechi as well as the former Osun state governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, and his Kano state counterpart, Rabiu Kwankwaso, to leave the party.
Also joining Bala in the protest is the only elected ADC ‘s House of Representatives member, Leke Abejide.
