The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) faction backed by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has pegged the sum of N50 million on its presidential nomination form as the faction adjusted its timetable and scheduled activities ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
This was made known in a statement issued on Friday by the faction’s National Publicity Secretary, Jungudo Mohammed.
As contained in the revised timetable attached to the statement, the sales of form are now to commence from the 27th of April to 4th of May, 2026 with presidential aspirants billed N50 million for nomination form with N1 million for expression of interest.
For governorship elections, aspirants are also to pay N1 million for expression of interest and N20 million for nomination form.
While maintaining same N1 million for aspirants seeking Senatorial, House of Representatives, House of Assembly tickets, the price of their nomination forms however differ.
Senatorial aspirants are to pay N5 million for the form while House of Representatives aspirants are charged N3 million and House of Assembly, N2 million.
All forms, after purchase are to be submitted on or before 9th of May, 2026, with screening of the states and National Assemblies slated to hold on the 11th of May.
Governorship and Presidential aspirants are to be screened on the 12th of May while appeal for both screening is scheduled for 13th and 14th of May respectively.
The House of Representatives, Senate, and States Assemblies primaries are to hold on the 17th, 20th, and 22nd of May respectively while the Governorship and Presidential primaries are to hold on the 24th and 26th of May.
All appeals are to be addressed on 30th of May, 2026.
