It was drama before drama at a Lagos cinema on Friday as Yoruba actress, Funmi Bank-Anthony clashed with fellow Nollywood colleague, Uche Maduagwu.
Bank-Anthony and Maduagwu went on rampage in what could be described as straight out of a movie script as both actors went toe-to-toe at cinema.
As captured in a viral video shared on X, the Yoruba actress took the first shot at Maduagwu as she hit the actor with an object.
In enraged Maduagwu would then attempt to pull off his shirt with the actress also yanking off her wig for a full brawl.
Swift intervention by onlookers how led to the separation of both actors.
However, the clip showed some men, who appeared to be supporters of Bank-Anthony, beating up Maduagwu as he struggled to get back on his feet.
There were claims that the actor had accused Bank-Anthony of being responsible for the recent clash between fellow actresses, Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham.
Recall that the duo had last month came under public spotlight over alleged fresh feud after Akindele snubbed Abraham during the premiere of a movie produced by their colleague, Iyabo Ojo.
While Bank-Anthony’s alleged involvement in the feud is yet to be confirmed, her clash with Maduagwu had sparked mixed reactions from netizens with some trolling the actor for picking up a fight with a woman while others faulted Bank-Anthony’s action.
Some however claimed the fight was a skit or another movie promotion gimmick.
