An angry taxi driver has vented his frustration on group of All Progressives Congress (APC) women campaigners as he rained curses on them for attending the party’s rally in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
The driver, as captured in viral video shared across social media platforms verbally abused the women, who were wearing a branded fabric containing image of President Bola Tinubu and the Ogun APC consensus governorship candidate, Sen. Adeola Olamilekan, popularly known as Yayi, as he drove past.
He criticised them for allegedly supporting political campaigns for small incentives amid rising economic hardship in the country, including inflation and rising costs of living.
“You are all unfortunate people. You these wicked people. Are you supposed to follow these people?
“Those that are making you suffer, you are putting on their clothes.
“How much are they paying you? You can’t get more than N1,000.” He said.
The video had since sparked mixed reactions from netizens with some supporting the drivers while others slammed him.
