Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has on Monday arrived at his ward, carrying a poster of himself at the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primary election in the state.
Uzodinma who seeks the APC’s ticket for the Imo West Senatorial District appeared at his ward alongside his wife.
Spearheading his queue in a video shared on X, the Imo governor held up a poster containing his image as his supporters lined up behind him.
Uzodinma is strongly tipped to secure the ticket having been widely endorsed by stakeholders of the party in the state.
NPO Reported that the Imo Governor was personally cleared by the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, during the party’s screening exercise.
This further placed him at a vantage position to secure the ticket ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
