According to Aliyu, the election was conducted peacefully across 3,991 polling units in the state, and the results were thoroughly verified before the final declaration.

“After collating results from the 23 local government areas, President Bola Tinubu scored 301,000 votes, while Mr Stanley Osifo secured zero votes,” Aliyu declared.
The governor assured party members that the mandate delivered by APC members in the state would be transmitted to the National Collation Officer.
He also appreciated the party leader in the state, Sen. Aliyu Wamakko (APC-Sokoto North), for his continued support and guidance to both his administration and the APC in Sokoto.
Aliyu further commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and other stakeholders for their contributions to the successful conduct of the exercise.
Earlier, the state APC Chairman, Alhaji Haruna Adiya, described the process as a demonstration of unity and commitment among APC members in the state.
