The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released data on the total number of registered voters and collected Permanent Voters Card (PVC) collected ahead of the Ekiti State Governorship Election.
As contained in the data posted on INEC’s official X handle on Wednesday, a total of 1.02 million PVCs have been collected which represented 97.1 percent of the 1.05 million total number of registered voters.
Meanwhile, a total of 30,431 PVCs remain uncollected as residents prepare for the election slated to hold on Saturday.
Further breakdown of the data revealed that the capital city, Ado-Ekiti, recorded the highest number of PVCs collected which is 183,259.
This is followed by Ikole Local Government Area with 78, 608 collected PVC while Irepodun/Ifelodun came with 73,888 PVCs collected.
