Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has delivered his polling unit to incumbent governor and the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Biodun Oyebanji, as the ruling party recorded landslide victory at the ongoing 2026 Gubernatorial Election in the state.
Fayose who had strongly endorsed Oyebanji’s second-term bid despite their difference in political affiliation, backed his support with votes as the APC won his polling unit with 448 votes.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) fell behind the APC by wide margin as it recorded 37 votes.
Meanwhile, the candidate of Fayose’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Oluwole Oluyede, recorded only four votes at the polling unit 01, St. David Primary School, Ward 01, Afao-Ekiti, at Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Area.
