Amidst anxieties, the All Progressive Congress is moving towards producing a consensus candidate at last as it continues to prune its presidential aspirants.
The Northern governors had earlier in the day listed five of the aspirants for President Muhammadu Buhari to endorse one of them.
President Buhari had said he would lead the consensus building towards the emergency of a candidate that would win election for the party.
The five aspirants earlier listed for the President today are Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former Governor Bola Tinubu, Governor Kayode Fayemi, Transport Minister Rotimi Amaechi and Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi.

However, it was gathered that as at 10am Tuesday, the list had been further pruned to 3 aspirants with Osinbajo, Tinubu and Amaechi being the last three options.
Party faithful are said to be at the edge of their seats watching how the game plays out by the evening of today.
