Isiaka Owoade, the former Special Adviser to ex-Osun State governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has died.
Owoade’s demise was announced in a family statement issued on Wednesday by his son, Biodun Owoade.
The family of the ex-aide to Aregbesola expressed sadness over his demise while concealing the circumstances surrounding his death.
“With deep sorrow, but in absolute submission to the will of Almighty God,we announce the demise of our Dad,Grandpa, Brother and Uncle, Dr Isiaka Ayodele Owoade.” The statement partly read.
Prior to his appointment as Aregbesola’s Special Adviser on Land and Physical Planning, the late Owoade was a former Senior lecturer, Department of Civil Engineering, University of Zimbabwe, Harare,Zimbabwe from 1994 to 1996.
He was also the pioneer Chairman Action Congress of Nigeria, UK Chapter.
A graduate of geology wirh Masters’degree in Civil Engineering,
PhD holder in HydroGeology, Owoade served under the Aregbesola-led administration in Osun state.
He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and siblings.
