Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele, has announced the release date for her highly anticipated feature film ,“The Four: No One Fights Alone.”

The veteran filmmaker announced that the film will be premiere in Cinemas December 11.
She made the announcement on Monday in a post across her various social media handles.
The post reads: “IT’S GO TIME!!!
“On your mark… Get set… GO!!!!
“The relay is ON, and the Funke Akindele Network movie for 2026 is officially… THE FOUR.
“The baton has been passed. The announcement has been made.
“Now… shall we begin?
“It’s time to introduce you to THE FOUR. In all cinemas nationwide.”
Akindele said the film was produced by Funke Akindele Network (FAAN TV) and distributed by FilmOne Entertainment.
“The Four” is an emotionally charged drama that explores friendship, motherhood, resilience and the strength of ordinary women.

The film also explores themes of courage, faith, sacrifice and loyalty, while highlighting Nigeria’s cultural identity through music, fashion, language and tradition.
It features an ensemble cast including Akindele, Bisola Aiyeola, Chioma Akpotha, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Timini Egbuson, Lateef Adedimeji, Ali Nuhu, Uzor Arukwe, Ronke Oshodi Oke, Antar Laniyan and Wunmi Toriola.

Others are Waje, Afrobeats artiste Shoday, Samuel Banks, Kolapo Omotosho and Ayomide Iwasokun.
Akindele’s previous productions include “Omo Ghetto: The Saga,” “Battle on Buka Street,” “A Tribe Called Judah,” “Everybody Loves Jenifa” and “Behind The Scenes,” among others.
Through her filmmaking career, she has continued to contribute to Nigeria’s creative industry by producing commercially successful stories that promote Nigerian culture, entertain audiences and inspire emerging filmmakers.
