Controversial Osun-based businesswoman and All Progressives Congress member, Yusuf Falilat Arike, popularly known as Ero Arike, has again been dragged amid outcries of violence in the state as old video of her threatening shoot anyone she sights around her residence.
NPO Reported that the video had originally surfaced online in November 2025.
It returned to circulation on Tuesday in the wake of threats by APC Senator, Francis Fadahunsi, who charged members of the party to kill any member of the Accord Party they spot between now till the end of the August 15 governorship election.
While Fadahunsi had since come under fire over his remark, Arike’s recycled video further intensified the public outrage over the conduct of the Osun APC leaders ahead of the poll.
Speaking in Yoruba in the video shared on her Facebook handle, Arike, disclosed that she carries her rifle around.
Arike threatened to shoot anyone who dares trespass on her compound.
“I take my gun everywhere I go. I have gun. I’ll fire rounds of bullets at you from my apartment. I don’t give a dam about anyone.” She said.
This had further sparked outrage and backlash against the APC administration as some netizens called for her arrest and probe.
