Senator representing Osun East in the National Assembly, Francis Fadahunsi, has arrived at the Osun State Police Command headquarters in Osogbo following invitation by police authorities for interrogation.
Fadahunshi who had yesterday come under fire for his death against Accord Party members was summoned by the police over his inciting statement.
He reportedly arrived at about 2:35 p.m. in the company of the Commissioner of Police in charge of election and security, Samuel Erale.
Video shared on X on Wednesday by Channels TV captured moment the lawmaker arrived at the police station with two others.
NPO Reported that the police had yesterday written to Fadahunsi, inviting him over for interrogation over his statement where he charged APC supporters to kill Accord Party members in a viral video.
Meanwhile, Fadahunsi had in the wake of the backlash recanted his statement, stressing that he was misinterpreted.
The lawmaker, in a separate statement issued by his media team, claimed to have only charged the APC members to kill the Accord Party with their votes at the poll.
