Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 11 housemate, Abisola “Abi” Ayoola, has emerged as the Head of House (HoH) for Week 4, while eight housemates have been nominated for possible eviction.
Abi secured the title after defeating Chimsom Chuka in the final round of the multi-stage HoH challenge, which tested the housemates’ physical endurance, strategy, memory and precision.
The challenge began with the Colour Wheel game, where housemates were required to recreate a colour wheel from a displayed image using provided pieces.
The remaining contestants advanced to the semi-final, which involved puzzle assembly and painting, with Abi, Chimsom, Tram and Ricky emerging as the four finalists.
Abi and Chimsom then faced off in the final round, where they were required to accurately recreate displayed images from memory.
Abi eventually edged out Chimsom to emerge as the winner and become the third consecutive female HoH, following Sheba in Week 2 and Neche in Week 3.
Her victory also secured immunity for her task team, comprising Yusuf, Sheba, Barry, Oyin, Aikou, Keivo, Araga, Ricky and Flora, while Chimsom received individual immunity for finishing as the runner-up.
Meanwhile, Nomy was named the “benchwarmer” for the second consecutive time after arriving late to the arena for the challenge.
Abi’s HoH victory was followed by the nomination process, which took a dramatic turn after Big Brother introduced a twist that forced her to turn against members of her own immune team.
Abi and her team were initially given the opportunity to save two housemates from the vulnerable group and chose Bells and Bluethopia.
However, Abi was later summoned to the Diary Room and instructed to replace the two saved housemates by nominating three members of her previously immune team.
She subsequently selected Yusuf, Araga and Aikou.
Following the twist, Yusuf, Araga, Temi Nkem, Goddessa, Cassi, Nomy, Tram and Gerard emerged as the housemates up for possible eviction.
Aikou, despite being selected by Abi, has special protection as one of the season’s Gambits and is therefore not exposed to the full eviction risk under the season’s rules.
The development leaves the eight nominated housemates waiting for the public’s decision, while Abi takes charge of the house for the week.
