Nigerian film producer, Kunle Afolayan, has shared memorable scenes on movie set with late actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo.
Afolayan shared the photos in a post on his official instagram account which he tagged “Keep resting Sir dove.”
NPO Reported that the veteran actor passed away on Sunday at the age of 66 after a long battle with stage 4 cancer.
The late actor was laid to rest on Monday in his hometown, Ilaro, Ogun state.
Arriving during the prayer was his closest friend and fellow actor, Yinka Quadri, who was accompanied by Jide Kosoko.
The visibly aggrieved Quadri and Kosoko arrived in black outfit with the former wearing sunglasses.
They were later joined by their other colleagues which include Ireti Osayemi, Bolaji Amusan (Mr Latin), Olaiya Igwe and Dele Odule.
Also present at the venue of the prayer was Hassan family with one of his daughters, Halimah Hassan, who announced the actor’s battle with Stage Four Cancer, spotted among the grieving family.
During his lifetime, Hassan appeared in over 300 films, often in action-oriented Yoruba movies, and has also written, produced, and directed some of the movies.
Some of his notable movies include Atitebi, Agbelebu, Danfo Driver, Dr Brown, Okan Soso, Apaadi, Aníkúlápó (and its sequel), Olokiki Oru, and many others.
In an interview with the In Sider before his demise, he revealed that he was on the sick bed for seven years and would constantly vomit blood.
“I spent 7years on a sick bed, I used to vomit blood. I prayed while sitting down for so long,” he said.
