PDP Set to Announce Delta Governor Okowa As Atiku’s Running Mate

Baring all other unforeseen circumstances, the Peoples Democratic Party will today announce the Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa as the running mate to its presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Sources within the PDP have confirmed that out of the three nominees, the National Working Committee of the party settled for Okowa as the candidate who is more likely to go along with the candidature of Atiku.
Parties have up to Friday to submit names of their candidates and their running mates.
It was gathered that the announcement will take place today at the party’s headquarters in Abuja.
