Kidnappers have on Thursday abducted a Divisional Police Officer in Nasarawa State, Haruna AbdulMalik.
AbdulMalik is said to be the DPO for Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area of the state.
He was said to be leading a patrol team on the Nasarawa-Egon-Akwanga Road when he was seized by his abductors .
Mr. Benjamin Kuze, who is the Vice Chairman of the Local Government confirmed that the DPO was abducted on Thursday.
Insecurity has become rampant in that part of the North-Central region of the country with several cases of kidnapping and killings.
