The much awaited election of the president of the Nigerian Football Federation has held today with Ibrahim Gusau emerging as the next president of the organization.
With his election, he is to oversee the nation’s soccer administration and replace Mr. Amaju Pinnick.
The election held in Benin the Edo State capital.
While Gusau recorded 21 votes, his closest rival, Seyi Akinwumi, polled 12 votes.
Former League Management Committee Chairman, Shehu Dikko, polled six votes.
